Words from the Heart, Pictures from the Soul

Well, I’ve decided to try my hand at a little portrait photography, while continuing to shoot some landscape and western-style pictures, so a shameless plug for my little endevour may ensue. It is my ultimate hope to be able to combine my passion for writing and rambling and capturing images of Montana’s big, beautiful sky, and all things grand and small that live beneath it, into something artistic, real, and relatable.

I am in the beginning stages of learning photography, and I recently had the pleasure of shooting a senior session with the beautiful, and humble, Tawnya B.Let me say, this girl is beautiful and real from the inside out. Her true authenticity was what I hoped I could somehow capitilize on in a photo. She and her horse, Buckshot, were such troopers on any artistic whim or suggestion I had, and she had some really great ideas herself!

What an honor to be a part of her day!

My beautiful sister and her family allowed me to take my first actual family photo session. We got extremely lucky with the fall colors, the stormy weather, and the fall setting. I loved sharing this moment with them.I frequently share on my Instagram and Facebook pages my little random thoughts and quotes, and post photos that I feel seem close to the words or the feeling. I look forward to continuing to develop skills and new ideas, so with that being said, I am open for a little side business on the weekends. My fees are minimal, as I do not consider myself a professional, but will do my best to capture the essence amd realness of a person or family. I believe in casual and candid shots, and a little less posed.

Feel free to contact me at (406)680-2047, or shoot me a message on Facebook at Cowgirl Ramblings Blog & Photography, or on Instagram @cowgirlramblings. I am happy to travel to just about any reasonable destination requested.

Share the word, if you care to! Thank you for all your kind words of encouragement and follows and likes along the way. And thanks for having a little faith in this cowgirl.

Happy Trails~

Heather
